~ Why Goats? ~
Goats are a great addition to any homestead, and pygmy goats, in particular,
have a lot to offer.
Not only are they adorable and curious, but they also have a friendly personality that makes them great companions. Pygmy goats are small in size, making them easy to handle and care for.
Although not typically used for milk production, it is possible to get enough household milk from Pygmy goats, and they can be used for meat if desired.
Goats are natural browsers and can be a great addition to any homestead. They are known for clearing land by eating unwanted vegetation, such as weeds and brush. This not only helps to keep the land tidy but also promotes healthy growth of desired plants. Goats can provide a source of milk, meat, and fiber. With their friendly and curious personalities, goats can quickly become a beloved part of any homestead.
As a proud member of the National Pygmy Goat Association (NPGA), we are committed to promoting the breeding and showing of Pygmy goats in the United States.
